Creating a site

On this page

You can have more than one site on your account, for example one for your business and one for a product launch. How many sites you can create depends on your plan; My sites shows how many you are using, for example Sites used on your plan: 1 of 3.

Open the new-site screen

  • On My sites, click New site (top right) or the dashed New site card.
  • If you have no sites yet, click Build my site with AI or Start from a template.

The screen has two parts: on the left you choose how to start and fill in the details; on the right you see a preview.

At the top of the left side, switch between AI (recommended) and Templates.

Option 1: build the site with AI

The AI site builder reads your description, picks the best of our designs for your business and writes every headline, section and button, in your site's languages.

  1. Click AI.
  2. In Describe your business, write a few sentences: what you do, for whom, and what visitors should do (book a call, buy a course, sign up).
    • You can click one of the example ideas under the box to see how it works.
    • Write at least a sentence or two (minimum 15 characters).
  3. Choose the Site languages (see below).
  4. Enter the Site name and check the Address.
  5. Click Build my site with AI.

A progress screen shows the steps: Reading your description, Choosing the best design, Writing headlines and sections, Putting it all together. This usually takes about a minute. You can leave the page; the site keeps building. When it is done, the editor opens.

Good descriptions give better sites. Example: "I teach online Excel courses for accountants. I sell a $49 video course and want people to sign up for a free webinar." Mention your offer, your audience and the main action.

The box under the description shows your AI credits. Building a site uses some of them. If you run out, click Buy credits. See AI assistant.

If the AI cannot finish, your site is still created with the starter design. Click Open the editor, edit it by hand or ask the AI again from the editor.

Option 2: start from a template

  1. Click Templates.
  2. Use the filters to narrow the list: All, Sales pages, Stores, Creators, Leads & quizzes, Newsletters, Business.
  3. Click a template card. The right side shows the whole design live, with its name, category and a short description.
  4. Switch the preview between desktop and phone with the two small icons, or click Open to see the template in a new tab.
  5. Fill in the languages, name and address, then click Create site. The editor opens with the template's design and sample content.

Templates include, among others, a neutral Starter, a VSL / sales page, a digital product shop, an AI & SaaS launch page, a personal brand site, a quiz / lead generation page, a link in bio page, a newsletter, a limited drop with a countdown, a video masterclass and a portfolio.

Every part of a template can be changed later: texts, images, colors, fonts and sections. Pick the one whose structure fits you best, not only the colors.

Choose the site languages

Under Site languages click the languages your site should have. The first one you pick is the main language (marked main); visitors see it at your main address. The others live under their own code, for example /de.

  • The counter (for example 2 / 3) shows how many languages your plan allows per site.
  • With more than one language, click a code next to Main language: to change which one is main.
  • You can change languages later in the editor under Settings → Languages. See Languages.

Name and address

  • Site name: how you call the site in your dashboard, for example My company.
  • Address: your free subdomain, for example my-company.closer.rs. It is filled in from the name automatically, but you can type your own.

Rules for the address:

  • only lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens (not at the start or end);
  • at least 3 characters;
  • some addresses are reserved (for example www, admin, support, blog) and some are already taken. If so, you see a message and can try another one.

You can connect your own domain (like mycompany.com) later. See Domain.

What happens next

Your site is online immediately at its address, with the first version published. Open the editor to make it yours, and click Publish whenever you want visitors to see your changes.

If the Create site button is disabled, either your trial has ended or your plan's site limit is reached. Choose a plan (or a bigger one) in Account → Plan & billing.
