Pages and popups
On this page
Your site starts with a home page. You can add more pages (for example About, Pricing, Services) and popups: small windows with a form or an offer that open from a button or automatically.
The page picker
At the top of the Structure tab is the page picker. It shows what you are editing (Page or Popup) and how many pages the site has. Click it to:
- switch to the Home page or any other page;
- add a New page;
- switch to a popup or add a New popup.
Adding a page
- Open the page picker and click New page.
- The editor creates the page with an empty Container section and switches to it.
- Open Page settings (above the section list) and set:
- Address (URL): the part after your domain, for example
pricinggives/pricing; - Page name: shown in menus and as the default title;
- Published (visible to visitors): turn off to keep the page hidden while you work on it;
- SEO title (empty = page name), SEO description and Sharing image (optional). See SEO and analytics.
- Address (URL): the part after your domain, for example
- Add sections as on the home page. See Sections and elements.
- Click Publish. The page goes public only when you publish.
In Page settings you also find Open (view the published page), Duplicate (copy the page with all its sections) and Delete page. A deleted page can be brought back with Ctrl+Z.
Page addresses
- Addresses use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Whatever you type is cleaned up automatically, for example O nama! becomes
o-nama. - Each address can be used only once.
- Some addresses are reserved for the system and cannot be used:
admin,home,index,product,redeem,checkout,stripe,cart, the language codes (en,sr,ru,ar,fr,es,de) and a few technical ones (livewire,build,uploads,assets,data,up,storage,robots-txt,sitemap-xml). If you try one, you see That address already exists or is not allowed. - If your site has several languages, the page also exists at
/de/pricing,/fr/pricingand so on. Page settings shows the addresses for each language. - When you change a page's address, menu links and buttons that pointed to it are updated automatically.
Adding pages to the menu
New pages are not added to the menu by themselves. To link them:
- In Structure, click Header (menu).
- Under Menu links, click Add item.
- Enter the Text and, in Links to, pick the page from the list (for example Page: Pricing).
- Publish.
You can link a page from anywhere else too: a button, a card, the footer Links. Links can also point to a section on another page, for example /pricing#faq.
Popups
A popup is a window that appears over the page. It contains sections like a page, so it can hold a contact form, a newsletter sign-up, an offer with a button, a video and so on.
Create a popup
- Open the page picker and click New popup (or, in the Add tab, click New popup under Forms).
- The preview shows the popup open. Edit its sections like a normal page.
- Set the options in Popup settings above the section list.
- Publish.

Open a popup from a button
Every popup has a Link that opens it, for example #popup-newsletter. Put that link on any button, menu link or card, and a click opens the popup. Link fields also offer your popups in their list (Open popup: …). You can rename the part after #popup-; links that used the old name are updated for you.
Popup settings also have Duplicate and Delete popup.
Tips
- A popup that opens When the visitor is about to leave with a small discount or a free guide is a classic way to collect emails. Set How often to Once per visitor so it does not annoy people.
- Keep popups short: one title, one sentence, one form or button.
- Turn off Published on a page you are still building, and turn it on when it is ready.
